Cheap Calls to Eritrea with Callimax

Eritrea? If you never thought that a country can be named like that, you are not alone, add me, it sounds like some sort of a medical condition. But no, there it is, somewhere in Africa, very easy to find. It is a small country in the so called Horn of Africa (a peninsula in Northern Africa).  Eritrea has a long coast line with Red Sea, population is around 6 million, official languages English, Arabic and Tigrinya and the capital Asmara.

The country has an ancient history, some claiming that one of king Solomon’s sons has established the capital city. Once it was an Italian and an Ethiopian colony but gained independence in 1993. The Economy is not much developed to say the least, life goes on slow they say. Camel is depicted in the emblem; the country has officially nine ethnicities with a nation called Tigrinya making a slight majority. The second ethnicity is called Tiger people. Apparently people here like tigers and it is strange that a camel is on the emblem instead of a tiger. The rest belong to Afroasiatic-speaking Cushitic branch, such as the Saho, Hedareb, Afar and Bilen. Tigrinyas speak a language called Tigrinya, which means Tiger language, so naturally it would be nice to hear how it sounds. The beauty or Eritrean women is well-known, but also their courage and perseverance, which they also look for in their partners. One example may be enough, Afar women will not start any relationship with any man, who has not killed another man. This may be an exaggeration, but maybe not, it is hard to check.

Like elsewhere in Africa, telecommunications are spreading here too, but the coverage of mobile and Internet is too small and the process goes very slow. All Telecom matters are in the hands of the Eritrean Government. There is only one ruling party in the country, and though it is called People’s Front for Democracy and Justice, what kind of democracy it  remains a matter of speculation. Elections are regularly announced but never take place, maybe that’s why the main port of the country is called Massawa, which is translated as Shout Loudly.

 Call Eritrea with Callimax

As the modern telecom networks crawled into the country, there is no need to shout anymore. However, there is only one operator of standard landline mobile network in Eritrea, but there are several Internet providers as well. That said, VoIP calling is getting much popularity in the country since it is cheaper than standard mobile rates. There are a number of VoIP providers offering cheap calls to Eritrea, but the best is Callimax, because it offers most affordable rates for a cheap call to Eritrea mobile. So if you want to make  cheap calls to Eritrea from USA or another country you just need to download Callimax cheap international calling app from Android Play Store and enjoy the excellent call quality at most affordable rates.
